Most men's slippers get bought in a hurry in the third week of December and thrown out by March. This collection is the opposite of that. Authentic Harris Tweed, soft suede and grade A Australian sheepskin, cut into shapes that look like proper footwear rather than something to be hidden under the coffee table.
The William is our best known men's mule. Harris Tweed handwoven at home by islanders in the Outer Hebrides, lined with grade A Australian sheepskin, in navy herringbone, grey and charcoal check, navy and black check, chocolate and green check, and a navy blue tartan. Every pair carries the Harris Tweed Orb certification mark, protected by its own Act of Parliament.
The Hanks takes the classic moccasin and does it properly. A soft suede upper, Harris Tweed binding around the collar, and a plush lining underfoot. This is the pair for a man who would rather not wear a check.
Sheepskin lining that breathes and keeps its loft instead of matting flat within a month. A memory foam insole. A firm, non-slip sole that copes with the drive, the garden and the shop on the corner. These are slippers that are still worth wearing next winter, and the one after that.
Suede wants a brush and a protector spray before its first outing. Sheepskin linings prefer airing to washing, and a specialist wool wash on the rare occasion they need more. Harris Tweed handles almost anything and asks only for a brush down. Full instructions sit on every product page.
Available in UK sizes 7 to 14, in black, navy, grey, brown and check. Designed in the UK.
